This component is supporting development of governance and institutional capacities while leveraging ICT. The interventions are planned to transform governance, build strategic and operational capacity of the MoSSD, particularly of the NHIF as well as the Zakat Fund mainly focusing on system strengthening. This component is also supporting the Directorates of Planning and Human Resources Development in MoH. This component is further supporting capacity building at three levels; federal, state and locality in the States of White Nile (WN) and North Kordofan (NK). The component is supporting renovation of 56 health facilities including provision of essential infrastructure, equipment and e-learning and e-health tools to improve access and quality of health service delivery to the rural poor and the vulnerable populations of WN and NK regions.
